The Cherry Orchard written by Anton Chekhov and first produced, under the direction of Stanislavski, at the Moscow Art Theatre on January 17, 1904

Several scenes from The Cherry Orchard  (Вишнëвый сад written by the Russian playwright Anton Chekhov (1860-1904) and first produced, under the direction of Konstantin Stanislavski, at the Moscow Art Theatre and opened on January 17, 1904. Chekhov described the play as a comedy, with some elements of farce, though Stanislavski treated it as a tragedy.
